Aqua Clear Solutions: The Token-Backed Solar Desalination Solution for Global Scalable Water Infrastructure

Updated: 6 days ago

Water scarcity is emerging as one of the most material global risks of the coming decades. More than 2.5 billion people already lack reliable access to clean water, while desertification eliminates approximately 12 million hectares of fertile land each year. By 2050, up to 5.7 billion people—nearly 70 percent of the global population—may be affected by water stress, creating an urgent need for scalable, investable solutions.

Aqua Clear Solutions (ACS) was established to meet this challenge by combining solar-powered desalination technology with a token-backed infrastructure financing model. The result is a platform designed to accelerate the deployment of clean water assets while aligning capital with long-term environmental and social value creation.

ACS is built on the innovation legacy of EUREKA BI5 Brussels, a globally recognised research and development organisation operating in partnership with the European Economic Community and under the patronage of the Kingdoms of Belgium, Spain, Morocco, and Thailand. EUREKA Brussels supports more than 500 inventors annually across 40 to 60 countries and stewards over 1,200 proprietary technologies, providing ACS with a strong foundation in applied, commercially viable innovation.

Drawing on more than a decade of focused research, ACS has developed a patented, hybrid solar desalination system that integrates heliotropic mirrors, a central Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) tower, high-intensity photovoltaic modules, and an advanced thermal distillation chamber. Each modular installation can produce up to 80,000 cubic metres of potable water per year, enabling decentralised, low-carbon desalination at infrastructure scale.

What differentiates ACS is its token-backed deployment model. Through the forthcoming Aqua-Eureka Coin (AEC), ACS links digital tokens to the rollout and performance of physical desalination assets. This structure is designed to provide transparency, scalability, and capital efficiency, while enabling investors to participate directly in revenue-generating water infrastructure supported by long-term water demand.

As part of this strategy, ACS has launched a pre-launch investment round ahead of the AEC public launch scheduled for March 2026. In parallel, the company has identified near-term project opportunities in Cyprus, Jordan, and Oman, where solar desalination can materially enhance water security for municipal, agricultural, and tourism sectors.

For investors, ACS offers exposure to a tokenised clean infrastructure platform anchored in real-world assets and essential demand. For technology and implementation partners, it presents opportunities to collaborate on deployment, optimisation, and regional scaling of next-generation solar desalination systems.

Aqua Clear Solutions represents a convergence of solar energy, desalination engineering, and token-backed financing—positioned to deliver measurable impact and durable value in the global water economy.
